Week 5(23/09/2020)

We were tasked to do the scene breakdown and the character exploration by following the instruction given below.

Scene Breakdown: Breakdown your story in separate scenes. Describe every scenes in character+action form, present tense only. 

Example: 

Scene 1: Martin staring at the blank TV, he lights up a cigarette. 

Scene 2: Martin cooking instant noodle. 

Scene 3: Amy sneaks into the bedroom at night quietly, trying not to wake up Martin who sleeping on bed. Amy packing her stuffs from wardrobe. Martin switches on the side lamp, staring at Amy with hatred.....

Character Design:

1. Research references: A. real photos as references, B. Animation/manga characters as references 

2. First character build with shape, line and silhouette (https://www.asifa-south.com/2016/12/27/character-design-great/) Layout Design: Find reference for major scene/scenes: A. real photos as references, B. Animation/manga as references. 

3. Write your story into script.

Below is the scene breakdown, character and scene exploration.

Before we do the script for our story, we did a script writing test by using the "KungFu Panda" movie.

After finished this script, I proceed to do my story script. Below is the script for my story.

Week 6(30/09/2020)

We were tasked to do the storyboard thumbnail for our pitch bible. Below are the first attempt.

Mr Martin said I can proceed to imporve the drawing, he also advised me to edit some of the scene. By the advice given, I revised and improved my storyboard. Below is the final storyboard.(Fig 1.02-1.04)

After finished storyboard, I proceed to do the pitch bible that consists of synopsis, character, world design, script and storyboards. Below is the final of the pitch bible.
