INSTRUCTION

 

Week 12(15/06/2021)

For the final project, we are assigned to create audio for one of the silent movies provided by the lecturer. We are required to create 2 videos that are basically the same but with background music and without background music. We would need to include sound effects for the action and add some dialog.

Before we start the project, we need to plan and fill in the timing for the audio in a storyboard. Below is my audio storyboard for the final project.

I prepared some tools to create the sound effects, including a hammer, box, coins, stationery, and book. I have also used leather shoes to create some footstep sound effects.

For the first draft, Mr. Razif said some impact sounds too loud, and it is clipping as well. I also need some sound that is outside the scene, such as ambiance sound. For the background music, we must create ourselves by using Bandland, a website for creating audio by using different instruments. Below is the link to the website.

Week 13(22/06/2021)

I created some music using piano and also record the dialog for the character. Also solved the problem that was pointed out by the lecturer. Below are the final outcomes.
